Spring Holidays by Brooke

Easter is such a great holiday to decorate for.  Such pretty, soft colors after a long winter.  Here's a few that have caught my eye lately: Easter egg dye

Love the simplicity.  This would be really easy to throw together.  And kids would love helping with the egg dyeing.

Those colors are so soothing, aren't they?

Love this take on an Easter bouquet.

And I know this one is a few days late, but I couldn't resist this.  Wouldn't this be perfect for St. Patricks?  Love it.

Any great decorating tips for the holidays?

Valentine's Inspiration by Brooke

It is nice to have Valentine's Day around the corner to break up February.  Even if I'm not exactly a romantic-lovey holiday celebrator.  (Let's face it.  I'm in it for the candy.) But a few subtle decorations are fun to have. Spotted a few outdoor ideas:

Or this peony wreath:

And I love this understated doormat.  It would be especially fun to have for Valentines Day.

'Tis the Season by Brooke

I love having boxwood around.  They stay tidy and neat in the summer, hearty and green in the winter, and you can use cuttings to make great holiday wreaths.  That's win-win-win-win.  Or maybe just three wins.  In any case, they are fun to have around.  For this one, I used an old frame as the base and attached boxwood all around.  So easy.

Have you decorated for Christmas yet?
