Another plant I am loving lately. Actually, a tree. But the Korean Maple (Acer pseudosieboldianum) is a small speciman tree, stays very little, and feels almost like a shrub. But really very beautiful.
I love the foliage. Aren't those leaves beautiful? These trees are a lot like the Japanese Maple but are much hardier and can be fully exposed on the south or west side of the house and still be happy. Which is why the Korean Maple is a great alternative.
They have beautiful coloring all year long, but I am especially partial to their fall coloring. Really awesome.
It's time we shared this well-kept secret with everyone.
